Using Your Mind for a Change:
Weight loss with Hypnosis and Awareness

This weight loss program is a completely different approach than the diets you've tried

It's based on "more"-- not "less". More awareness as to why you do what you do. More freedom of choice because you behave less compulsively. More self-care, self-esteem and self-love. And so much more eating pleasure!

You set your own goals of how you want to be and the habits you want to change.

Because you know what lifestyle habits have contributed to the weight gain, you can then decide what are going to be your better eating and exercise choices. You and I work together to word these into "suggestions". These are given to your subconscious mind in hypnosis in the office and also effectively at home as you practice self-hypnosis. The CD's for home use reinforce the office visits. Because we are using the enormous power of the subconscious mind and not the puny conscious mind "will-power", you find this process easy and almost effortless.

Our focus is on the process of moving towards the goal, so you feel great as you change the old habits, one by one. (And remember -- "The only habit that's harder to break than an old habit is a new one that works.") And consistent effort over time gets you there!

Goal-setting often fails because there are parts of you that don't want to succeed and actually sabotage your efforts.

These parts have perfectly good reasons for doing what they do, such as wanting reward, comfort or pleasure. Through hypnosis you better understand them so that they start working with the rest of you. All parts of you can then smoothly move together towards the goal. This feels very different than saying to yourself, "Go on a diet!" and then meeting the usual resistance and excuses.

Awareness is absolutely key in changing old habits.

Awareness of hunger and fullness:
You learn to easily and unconsciously change how much you eat and feel full, satisfied and content.

Sensory awareness:
You naturally focus on the eating pleasures of sights, tastes, textures, and smells and enjoy slower more appreciative eating.

Mental awareness:
You recognize negative thought patterns and beliefs so you can change them.

Emotional awareness:
You learn to easily identify the feelings that trigger overeating. You understand their origin and learn more satisfying ways of dealing with the feelings and taking good care of yourself.

Cultural awareness:
You become more aware of the unhealthy hypnotic suggestions from the media and from society and are more determined to make your own choices.

These are the rewards of awareness. How do you learn them? In hypnosis sessions, on the CD's you are given, and through practices at home. And remember -- from awareness comes choice, and from choice comes personal freedom.

You may be wondering if all of this be learned in four sessions? The answer is yes! Hundreds have done it! You will change more easily and effortlessly than with the other approaches you've tried because your subconscious mind is supporting you, not resisting you. It simply takes the commitment to listen to 20 minutes of a CD daily while seeing me (there are six different tracks to choose from). When the sessions are complete you stay on course by practicing self-hypnosis-- forever. It only takes a minute of self-hypnosis to re-program your subconscious mind!

How much weight will you lose?

The answer is that with hypnosis you'll easily learn new ways of eating and exercising. You'll gain awareness and insight that lets you let go of old compulsive ways of doing things and gives you freedom of choice. You'll feel very good about your efforts. How much weight you lose depends on how much you are overeating now and how much exercise you are able to do. Weight loss with the old diet plans is usually gained back. Therefore what really works is permanent change in behaviors through hypnosis and awareness.

Success depends on your commitment to:

Determine specifically how your eating habits need to change and what foods best suit your personal needs and taste. You are in charge, not me.
Devote extra time to physical activity, preferably every day.
Listen to one of the CD's daily while seeing me and then doing daily self-hypnosis. (It only takes a minute to change your mind!)
Practice the quick and easy awareness techniques.

These sessions meet your particular needs.

1). In the first session we review your goals for new eating and exercise habits and I effectively give these to you in hypnosis.

2). In the second session you become an expert in self-hypnosis.

3). The third session explores resistance and gets all parts of you working towards your goals, as well as helping you with urges and emotional eating.

4). In the fourth session you master quick and powerful mind- techniques for changing behaviors and you develop a strategy for the future. (Various awareness techniques are taught and practiced throughout the sessions and are reinforced on CD's for home use.)

In four sessions you will have mastered all the tools you need. And if you should feel the need for continued support and "coaching", I'm available at the office or over the phone.

This is an enjoyable and enlightening process.
