Scheduling your session
Making An Appointment
Dr. Doner's office is open 9:00 to 5:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Thursdays. She will answer your phone call and return all phone
messages on those days. Feel free to call anytime and leave a detailed
message at 772-581-0221. She is happy to give you a FREE phone
consultation -- personally answer your questions about Hypnotherapy,
discuss how it can help you and schedule a session.
Your First Session Checklist
- Fill out and bring the consent form to your session. (Click
on the consent form at the top of the page.)
- Read Understanding Hypnosis.
- Review any information on this web-site about the issue you
want addressed. If your sessions are about smoking or weight,
please fill out the questionnaire in that web-site section and
bring it with you.
- If you have been asked to get a referral from your physician,
please bring it to the session or have it called to me. It's
just a simple prescription: "Hypnosis for (your name) for (medical
condition) with Dr. Doner." Medical records are not necessary.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to take off
your glasses or take out your contact lenses if you can not wear
them with your eyes closed. If you use hearing aids, please wear
them.
- You may be given a tape or CD to listen to at home. Please
have a tape or CD player available that you can use in the house
without distraction. You'll need to make sure that you aren't
bothered by the phone, anyone at the door or members of the family.
You deserve this time! (Never listen to it in the car.)
- We request payment at the time of the session. We are currently
accepting checks or cash. You might find it actually easier
to have the check filled out in advance. You'll be feeling so
comfortable and relaxed after the session that you might prefer
to not have to fill out a check at that time! The first session
is 1 1/2 hours and the fee is $145. The rest of the sessions
are one hour each and are $100 each. (The total fee for the two
Stop-Smoking sessions is $245 payable at the first session.)
- Please call well in advance if you need to cancel since others
would like to use this appointment time.
